It's a Corvette, why are you worrying about gas milage? If you really want to save gas though, you will have to put a transmission with overdrive in it. This will lower the RPM's and make it better on the highway. It's good that you took off the crapalytic converter, that must've freed up a lot of HP!
no problem then put a vid up after you do
Thanks for the tip. I might try that.
run an H pipe it connects between the two pipes and it balances out the pressure and the sound in the exhaust it may help fuel economy a little too
It's just straight pipes all the way back. There not connected. It doesn't have a catalytic converter. I may try the 40 series.
i'd try the 40 series mufflers and do you have an H pipe or an X pipe on your exhaust?
I got a K&N air filter a couple of month's ago. It help's a little. I'm getting an average of about 7-8 MPG city right now. It also has an Eldebrock 750 cfm carb that hurt's the mpg's.
looks like 50 series They're almost as heavey as your stock mufflers sound good though. If you wanna improve the gass mileage on there get yourself a K&N air filter it'll help about 2 or 3 MPG most likely
Yeah, I tried to get the most stock looking Flowmaster. Their a little bit louder than stock but, not by much. And they were suppose to get me better gas mileage but, the better gas mileage thing didn't happen.
those look like stock mufflers Flowmasters usually aren't as rounded off but that could just be the camera
